The Right to Hunt and Fish in Tennessee campaign is a grassroots effort led by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, the oldest and largest nonprofit organization in Tennessee dedicated to the conservation, sound management and enjoyment of Tennessee's wildlife and natural resources for current and future generations through stewardship, advocacy and education.
While research shows that public sentiment is overwhelmingly on our side, we need to educate the voting public on why this amendment is important, and why they should VOTE YES on November 2. In order to secure passage, the amendment must receive 50 percent plus one of the votes cast in the gubernatorial election -- if a voter skips through the question, it counts as a NO vote. That's why the education component is so important.
